At SecondsCount.org, we promote healthy hearts, one family at a time. When patients and their families are educated about cardiovascular health, they are better prepared to navigate the medical system and actively participate in their care. SecondsCount.org is a public education website hosted by the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) to provide in-depth and interesting information about cardiovascular health, from prevention to treatment and everything in between.
SCAI is a 4,000-member professional medical society whose mission is to promote excellence in invasive and interventional cardiovascular medicine.
SCAI has undertaken the SecondsCount public education initiative with its own resources as well as support from Abbott, AstraZeneca, Boston Scientific, and St. Jude Medical.
