    Dr. Reilly earned his medical degree from Columbia University in New York City and completed his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship at the New York University Medical Center. He moved to San Diego to pursue his interventional cardiology training at Scripps Clinic. On conclusion of this training, he came to New Orleans to join Ochsner Clinic, where he has been on staff since the summer of 2002.His practice focuses on coronary and peripheral vascular diseases but includes treatment of structural and valvular heart disease. His interest is in the minimally invasive treatment of heart and vascular disease. He is also expert in non-invasive CT angiography.

    Academically, Dr. Reilly has published many papers on cardiovascular disease, including treatment of heart disease with angioplasty and stenting. He is the Program Director for the cardiovascular disease training program at Ochsner Medical Center. And he is the Vice Chairman of the Department of Cardiology.
