Dr. Klein is an adult interventional cardiologist at the John Cochran VA Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Medicine at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame. After receiving his medical degree from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine (now known as Drexel School of Medicine), he completed his internal medicine training at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at the University of Colorado, Denver, where he also trained in endovascular and vascular medicine. Following a year of advanced cardiology research fellowship training at the University of Wisconsin, he joined the St. Louis VA Healthcare System. Dr. Klein is boarded in five medical specialties, including internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, vascular medicine, and endovascular medicine. He is the Head of Cardiovascular Research at the John Cochran VA Medical Center and is active in several national clinical trials as well as in the cardiovascular fellowship training program of St. Louis University.
