Cardiac Cath Lab, Sibley Heart Center Cardiology

Meredith has over 7 years of pediatric cardiac experience. After graduating summa Cum Laude from Georgia Baptist college of Nursing at Mercer University she began her nursing career on the cardiac step-down unit at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. She then transitioned to the Cardiac Intensive care unit at Egleston where her roles included preceptor, team leader, ECMO specialist, and she became credentialed with CCRN.

Meredith obtained her Master's in Science in 2009 from Georgia State University and became certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Wanting to continue working in the field of pediatric cardiology, she joined Sibley Heart Center Cardiology as their first interventional cath lab nurse practitioner. Currently her roles include direct patient assessment and planning, research coordination, assisting with cath lab procedures and patient education.
